Established by multi-disciplinary experts in layer poultry farming, biotechnology, entomology and agriculture. Holocene Ecosolutions is a pioneer in India to use insects at an industrial scale for upcycling nutrients from organic wastes and low-quality agro-industrial byproducts with an aim of creating a circular ecosystem.
OUR VISION
We at Holocene Ecosolutions constantly envisage to developing and implementing eco-friendly and carbon-negative technologies for organic waste management. Insect rearing is a result of our vision to substitute conventional protein sources with sustainable insect protein for pet and animal feed.

- Started the Journey to find a solution for evergrowing poultry manure at Sakku Group Of Companies - Largest Egg Producers in India.
- Succeeded in Producing 1 kg of BSF eggs Per Day.
- Organic resedues upcycled - 50 TPD
- Organic resedues upcycled - 200 TPD
- Recieved BIRAC Big Grant to upcycle Abattoir waste.
- Partnered with Mukka Sea Foods to create a joint venture - Entoproteins for upcycling of nutrients from municipal organic solid waste (MSW).
- Organic resedues upcycled - 350 TPD
- Organic resedues upcycled - 500 TPD
OUR TECHNOLOGY
We Identify Potential Organic Residue Streams From Agro-Processing Industries. We convert the organic residues into a substrate on which our Larvae can feed and Convert them into nutrient-rich proteins and fats.
BLACK SOLDIER FLY
Black Soldier Fly is a common and widespread insect that thrives in wide climatic conditions. It feeds only during its larval stage, preventing it from becoming a pest. It has a shorter life cycle and a voracious appetite for decaying organic matter making it a special insect.
